At Blue Horizon, it is our custom to hand out gifts when we travel, giving everyone we meet with a little something. This year, however, we decided to put the money we spend on these gifts to a different use – helping out the victims of the recent floods in KZN.
To this end, we have given our gift budget to Inani, an organisation that helps coordinate the distribution of essential services to local communities that need it the most.
Originally intended to be a collectivisation platform, bringing local communities together to improve buying power and save costs, Inani transformed during the first stages of the pandemic to provide services instead. So far, Inani has facilitated the delivery of thousands of food parcels across the country.
We are incredibly proud to support this valuable initiative, lending a helping hand to those who have been affected by the floods and other factors that are beyond their control. We look forward to finding other ways to uplift those less fortunate in the near future.
