MATTEL’S 2022 FIRST QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS ARE THE HIGHEST YET

The first quarter of 2022 has been a record-breaker for Mattel, with the highest first quarter results yet for net sales, operating income and EBITDA. With net sales of $1 041 million, operating income of $80 million and adjusted EBITDA of $152 million, the company is set to continue this trend of success throughout the year.

MATTEL COMMITS TO REDUCE PLASTIC PACKAGING BY 25% BY 2030

In line with the company’s ecological goals, Mattel has pledged to reduce plastic packaging by 25% per product by the year 2030. This was announced in the 2021 Citizenship Report, which provides progress updates on Mattel’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and goals.
